Lent

Lent is a special and significant time at St Mary Magdalen's. It is a time we set aside each year to remember the love of God that is poured out through Christ on the cross in His death; and His defeat of death, through the resurrection which brings Eternal Life to us all.

Stations of the Cross

Above is the incredible art work of our Year 4 children. They were inspired by the works of Elizabeth Wang to create the Stations of the Cross, using oil pastels and paint. These pictures are displayed in our school Chapel.

During Holy Week, each year group performs an assembly acting out the saving mystery of Christ's passion, death and resurrection.
