St Mary Magdalen's Build A Cathedral

Children at St Mary Magdalen's participated in an Architecture Workshop. They created a cathedral out of bamboo sticks and elastic bands in the school hall. The cathedral reminds us to celebrate our catholic faith and community, while learning about the importance of squares and triangles in construction. Squares ensures stability and triangles provide strength by evenly distributing weight, both essential for sturdy structures. This reflects our catholic belief: the church offers stability, while the community provides strength, like squares and triangles in construction.
